Can I just interrupt the "food and otherwise" programming to tell you that my own true Georgie won the Killam postdoctoral fellowship of the University of Alberta Canada!?!?!? He is one of six awardees from all over the world, across all academic departments. I am so proud of him. Go Georgie!!
